Bangkok, April 9, 2025 – Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the leader of health enrichment products under BRAND’S trademark in Thailand and Asia, in collaboration with the National Blood Centre, Thai Red Cross Society, is organizing the "BRAND’S Young Blood...Give Blood Give Lives 2025: Tech for Life Contest" to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the "BRAND'S Young Blood" project. This initiative invites university students nationwide to submit creative ideas for digital media initiatives aimed at promoting blood donation awareness. Participants will compete for educational scholarships totaling 100,000 baht, a Royal Plaque from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, and a one-year supply of BRAND'S Chicken Essence products. Applications are open from April 9 to
May 20, 2025, with ongoing blood donation campaigns throughout the year.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of this initiative, the project’s activities have been elevated to drive greater positive impact within Thai society and to further promote sustainable blood donation. This year’s highlight is the launch of a major competition, the “BRAND’S Young Blood...Give Blood Give Lives 2025: Tech for Life Contest,” inviting university students nationwide to submit creative proposals for digital media tools, in the form of applications or websites,aimed at promoting blood donation awareness. Participants will compete for educational scholarships totalling 100,000 baht, along with a Royal Plaque graciously awarded by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. This year’s contest introduces new and more challenging topics that reflect the evolving digital landscape, alongside increased scholarship values for the winning teams.”
In addition to organizing the “BRAND’S Young Blood...Give Blood Give Lives 2025: Tech for Life Contest,” the company has prepared a variety of initiatives throughout the year. These include activities commemorating World Blood Donor Day, educational workshops to raise awareness and encourage blood donation, university roadshows with a mobile blood donation unit, and blood donation campaigns within academic settings under the “BRAND'S Young Blood 2025” project. These initiatives aim to educate young people on proper preparation for blood donation, foster a socially responsible mindset, and continuously promote blood donation across the country. Our target for 2025 is to achieve the donation of 125,000 units of blood, with a particular emphasis on engaging university students, who represent the next generation of sustainable blood donors..
The “BRAND’S Young Blood...Give Blood Give Lives 2025: Tech for Life Contest” encourages university students across Thailand, aged 17 and above, to submit innovative ideas for digital media that promote blood donation awareness. The proposed innovations should address the key topic: “How Can Technology Inspire and Encourage Thai Youth to Donate Blood More Easily and More Frequently?”
Competition Criteria:
- Teams of 3-5 members are eligible to compete.
- Teams must submit a concept design for an application or website in a PowerPoint presentation (PDF format), not exceeding 5 slides (excluding the cover page and references).
- Selected teams will present a high-fidelity prototype of their application or website, demonstrating its practical functionality.
- Entries are accepted from April 9 to May 20, 2025.
Awards for Winners:
- Winner’s award: A Royal Plaque from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, a certificate, and a scholarship of 50,000 Thai Baht.
- First Runner-Up: A certificate and a scholarship of 30,000 Thai Baht.
- Second Runner-Up: A certificate and a scholarship of 20,000 Thai Baht.
- Additional Benefits: All winning teams will receive a one-year supply of BRAND’S Chicken Essence products, free of charge.
